It was a raining day, you are sitting in the back of a taxi driving through New York City.
Humidity is all over the confined space - raindrops, mists, and also tears.
The pouring rain made everything out of focus, the only thing could be seen of this giant city was the colorful blurry dots moving through the backseat window.
Lost in The Rain is a light art installation about synesthesia in urban life.
I used 100 diffused LEDs, by putting them in different depth in the back, they are able to create a sense of space. And by animating their colors in Mad Mapper, I got to introduce motion and time into the work.
